Meagan the Buccaneer - 1

Meagan has been reimagined by artist Keri Ruediger. I sent Keri a list of reference material along with the image of the original character and after a series of fantastic thumbnails she has turned out the piece here. Over the next several weeks, Keri will render the image in color for promotional use and to provide a guide for painting the studio model.

I have started blocking the initial figure out and this is the posed armature.

The piece was originally offered through my initial boutique line as a limited edition piece. The new one will be available in an unlimited casting run and will include a companion monkey with blunderbuss.

New Concepts from Tim Collier

We have been working together for several months now on a regular basis on many different characters for Reaper Miniatures. I must say, Tim's work always delivers more than what vague concept can be stirring the back of one's imagination. He carries a vast amount of period costuming knowledge and reference around in his head, and when stumped for an exact detail, he knows where to find the reference.

These are some character ideas we are considering for upcoming releases in the  Bombshell Babes line. It hasn't been determined what or when they will see production but be assured they will make their way to the workbench.

Meagan the Buccaneer

We've received the initial sketches from Keri Ruediger for the revised version of one of my first miniatures from way back. I figured it would be fitting to re-imagine this particular character and really give her a decided upgrade. So far Keri is right on track and should have an approved sketch shortly.

I've also gotten to see the initial thumbnails for some concepts Tim is working on and you will be amazed! As soon as I can get them in I'll post them.

Babes are Branded

Initially this will be a specific line of miniature figures for the gaming and painting community featuring strong iconic female characters from various genres. The line will include original character designs by some of the industry's top artists, sculptors and painters that will be suitable for adventure games, battle games or simply displayed as painted works of art.
